Having been born and brought up in East Sussex, bonfire season was always a highlight of my year as a spectator, and in 2022, after 10 years of being away I thought joining my local bonfire society would be a great way to meet new friends, and boy was I right!
During my time away I studied bassoon and classical music at the Royal Northern College of Music, followed by working as a musician in London, so I'm so pleased to serve on the committee as Captain of Bands. As a newly appointment member on the committee I am looking forward to getting stuck in organising fundraising events and just injecting everything with as much fabulous music as possible. |
