In the wake of our hugely successful 2023 bonfire we made donations totalling £1300 to the following charities:
£500 - Parents and Friends of Chiddingly School
£500 - Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association
£250 - Fire-Rescue Service
£50 - St Peter & St James Hospice

Chiddingly Parish Bonfire Society is proud to receive its first ever trophies since being established in October 2020 - the dry spell is finally over!
These were presented on Saturday evening by our good friends from Lewes Borough Bonfire Society, who have always supported us from the off - we really appreciate all your support. A big congratulations to member Annis Hylands for winning the trophy for Best Dressed Visiting Female at Lewes Borough’s celebrations on the 4th November 2023. Also, The Pig Army are extremely proud to have been awarded the prestigious trophy for Best Dressed Visiting Society for 2023 too. |
