Hello, my name is Esther and I am the Society’s Media Officer & Captain continuing into the upcoming 2024 season. My job within the committee is to advertise and promote the Bonfire Society’s events and activities via Social Media, including Facebook and Instagram and more traditional media platforms.

I have been involved with Sussex Bonfire since the age of 9 with my first out-meeting being at Hailsham Bonfire in 2007 playing the tenor horn with The Heathfield Silver Band. Having been born and brought up in Sussex, myself and my family have always attended bonfires throughout Sussex, with my favourite being of course the 5th November.
I was one of the founding members of C.P.B.S and was absolutely thrilled when my close friends came up with the idea of establishing C.P.B.S in their home village in October 2020. It was a challenging journey to start with when we established, but we have come out the other side and are succeeding very very well…! I very much look forward to continuing this journey in 2024 with my little family and my friends of C.P.B.S. and help build this fantastic asset within the local community and maintain relationships with our fellow Sussex bonfire societies. |
