Captain of Torches

​Proud, slightly dyslexic country Dicker boy who was born with a blowtorch in his hand. After 20 years hiatus from participating in bonfire I'm back at it and reliving my fiery youth.​

I'm really loving representing Chiddingly bonfire at each out-meeting and now I'm Captain of flammable sticks it is a boys dream come true.

Outside of bonfire I'm a massive fan of making things, be that woodwork, children or even a spot of smithing! I'm a big fan of comedy and love to make people laugh. It brings me great happiness seeing smiles aplenty.

I have other great qualities such as stubborn, grumpy and deaf as I've been told by my lovely wife. Apart from maritally enslaved I am a proud dad of two and participating in bonfire with the whole family is a special thing to behold.

Hitting the smokey street each autumn with my bonfire rags on with the sound of drums and fire glowing in the night time air is a really wet way of saying I LOVE IT!!!
